Your responsibilities will include:
Data Engineering Leadership:
- Assuming responsibility for developing/improving, operation and maintenance of specific system modules (E2E technical system owner)
- Assist in the design and implementation of robust ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources into process mining platforms.
- Architect scalable data solutions that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop appropriate data models and pipelines.
- Manage defined IT applications and systems.
- Testing and initiating the introduction of technical innovations and improvements (state-of-the-art)
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Process Mining Enablement:
- Integrate and configure process mining tools (e.g., Celonis) with enterprise data systems.
- Develop and maintain data models and schemas that support process mining activities.
- Ensure the seamless flow of data into process mining tools, enabling real-time and historical analysis.
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their needs and provide the necessary data infrastructure.
- Managing projects for improvements or new development.
Data Quality and Governance:
- Carrying out system analyses and initiating necessary measures to ensure the production stability, availability, and security of the application.
- Implement and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct data audits and continuously monitor data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Steering internal or external IT service providers for programming and hosting (operations)
- Partner with business analysts, process owners, and other stakeholders to identify key metrics and KPIs for process mining.
- Providing support to functional units and key users on all issues related to the managed applications.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of home office, but twice a week we meet in the office for meetings.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee’s requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).
What we expect from you:
Education: University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT or in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes and data integration.
- Proven experience as a data scientist, with a track record of successful projects and implementations.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their data structures.
- Experience with some IT management tool (JIRA, CAPE, JIRA@BR)
- Strong communication and moderation skills
