Senior Power BI Reporting Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

Main responsibilities:

• Consult and design most effective and valuable solution for customers and theirs needs taking into consideration all the technical and legal possibilities with perfect understanding of business background, relations and implications of assigned business area.
• Coordinating activities with other units – bridge between Reporting & Controlling and IT division.
• Dataset preparation – KPI calculation knowledge, query building (iCubes, Tabular models, SQL, AfO, SAP HANA Studio etc.), creating relational data models
• Design of complex report visualization in frontend tools (PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell etc.)
• Ensuring monthly delivery of high-complexity reporting products
• Overall responsibility for data quality towards customer
• Quality assurance – logical and technical checks implementation, deltas verification (KPI validation process for Actuals and Plannings)
• Managing report changes and rebuilds (YE conversion, changes in reporting and business structures)
• Driving process improvements, automation, digitalization, efficiency
• Active participation on projects, preparing of presentations for management
• Training activities and supporting other colleagues within the team on related topics and processes
• Setting and regularly reviewing process documentation.
• Reporting issues, breaks, risks, improvements to Team Leader.
• Working in international virtual customer teams of multiple functions and competencies
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop and optimize semantic (Tabular) models, DAX measures, and report performance.
• Design and implement robust data models based on data warehousing and dimensional modeling best practices. 
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL and SSIS.
• Contribute to BI architecture and technical design decisions. 
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and access management standards.
• Optimize SQL queries, semantic models, and reporting performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvements, automation, and standardization across the BI landscape.
• Share technical knowledge and support other team members.

• Experience documenting cloud architectures and technical solutions, including architecture decisions and project documentation.

• Ability to identify patterns, trends and root causes in data.
• Translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience using AI-supported tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar solutions) to support data analysis and reporting.

We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of working from home , but twice a week we meet in the office in Košice or Bratislava for meetings.

The published salary is the minimum possible offer.

The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee’s requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).
