We are looking for an experienced Team Leader & Expert in Credit Risk, Payments & Collection Management to combine people leadership with deep business expertise across the Credit Risk, Fraud Prevention, Payment and Collection domains.

In this role, you will lead and further develop a high-performing international team while acting as a trusted advisor for complex business, process, risk and transformation topics. You will drive operational excellence, process harmonization, quality improvement and innovation across the Credit Risk, Payments & Collection Management landscape within Deutsche Telekom.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, coaching and career development.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, talent development and succession planning activities.
• Foster a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
• Support knowledge transfer and capability development across the organization.
• Act as the primary escalation point for employee-related and operational topics.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Credit Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, Payments and Collection Management processes.
• Coordinate complex requirements across Risk Management, Fraud Management, Collection Management, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Compliance and IT stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance on operational, process, risk and regulatory topics.
• Support the development and implementation of new business solutions, process improvements and service enhancements.
• Advise stakeholders on operational risks, compliance requirements and business impacts.
• Identify process, operational and risk-related weaknesses and initiate corrective actions where required.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex customer, partner, risk, payment or collection-related issues.
• Identify and implement process optimization, automation and digitalization opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement, governance, quality and compliance initiatives.
• Define and monitor process, quality and risk KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders across Deutsche Telekom organizations.
• Act as an interface between business and technical teams.
• Lead or support projects, transformations and process improvement initiatives. 

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, Risk Management, Law or a comparable field.
• Equivalent professional experience combined with strong expertise in Credit Risk, Fraud Management, Payments, Collections or Customer Finance may be considered. Experience
• Several years of experience in Credit Risk Management, Fraud Management, Collection Management, Payment Processing, Customer Finance, Order-to-Cash or Shared Services.
• Proven experience in team leadership, people management or functional leadership.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing complex business requirements.
• Experience with process improvement, governance, quality management and transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with data, KPIs and performance management.
• Experience within telecommunications, financial services or eCommerce environments is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Deep understanding of Credit Risk, Fraud Prevention, Payments and Collection Management processes.
• Extensive experience in coordinating complex tasks involving interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, risk management and quality management principles.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented and accountable.
• High degree of ownership, resilience and continuous improvement mindset
